Today is my biiiirrthdaaayy! 🎂🎉🎁 33 years young. People shit on getting older, but hitting my 30s has been pretty good for me. Alright, it's not been smooth sailing (mental, broken leg, no job) but I feel a lot more settled and comfortable with myself these last few years.

Also I've got better at doing my makeup, so that's a thing too. Not bad for an old hag.

These colours are representative of the non binary flag (swipe to see). Non binary folk don't identify with either of the traditional male/female genders. Instead, they can identify as somewhere in between *regardless* of their 'assigned' gender.

Being non binary is often considered under the transgender umbrella. Rather than necessarily wanting to transition, a non binary person may instead choose to use 'they/them' pronouns rather than he/she to reflect a neutral or shifting gender identity. There is no one way to be non binary and it encompasses the experience of many different gender nuances.

As many non binary folk don't transition they face misgendering if they present as more masculine/feminine. Pay attention to peoples' preferred pronouns and ask if you're not sure!
